First Visit

What To Expect

We look forward to welcoming you to Orthodontics at Don Mills! Upon your arrival, please notify our receptionist.

During your first visit, we will take diagnostic records and then Dr. James Noble and Dr. Cassolato will perform a comprehensive orthodontic examination. They will personally explain all aspects of your treatment

The Purpose of the Initial Examination is to Answer:

  • What, if any, orthodontic issues are present?
  • When should treatment begin?
  • What type of treatment is recommended?
  • How long will treatment take?
  • What will the cost of treatment be?

What are Diagnostic Records?

Diagnostic records typically include:

  • A series of photographs
  • Panoramic and cephalometric x- ray and tracings.

Your doctor will carefully study these records to help determine the best course of treatment for you.

What is the Cost of the Treatment?

The cost of orthodontic treatment will depend on the complexity of the individuals needs. If treatment is recommended, our treatment coordinator will discuss fees and payment options with you during your initial examination. We offer payment plans to accommodate different budgets and strive to make orthodontic care affordable for all our patients.

What Does my Investment Include?

The following is included:

  1. Treatment Planning
  2. Orthodontic records and any orthodontic x-rays needed during treatment
  3. Placement and removal of all orthodontic appliances and all office visits up to 12 months after removal of appliances
  4. The first set of orthodontic retainers after the braces are removed

What Doesn’t my Investment Include?

  • Please note that any treatment and subsequent cost received outside of this office will be your responsibility.
  • While rare, if an accident or injury during treatment results in TMJ complications, additional orthodontics, or orthognathic surgery, a fee adjustment may be necessary to complete the treatment.
